Leaving the Company

  • Notify your manager.
  • Review your contact information in Workday.
  • Start reviewing your benefit continuation options. COBRA information will be mailed to your home within 2 weeks of your termination. Email WEX Health or call (866) 451-3399 if you do not receive your COBRA letter.
  • If you are enrolled in a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), HealthEquity will mail you a letter with further information. Contact HealthEquity at (866) 346-5800 with any questions.
  • Consider converting your supplemental life insurance to an individual policy. A port and conversion packet will be mailed to you within 10 days of your termination. You have 30 days to convert your policy. Call MetLife at (877) 275-6387 for questions.
  • Access free, confidential counseling through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Review your unused vacation balance in Dayforce. If you are a non-exempt employee, all accrued but unused vacation will be included in your final paycheck.
  • Log in to your Empower Retirement account or call (888) 401-5932 (401K‑WDC) to have a representative assist you with your withdrawal options.

After you’ve left the company and are no longer eligible for Western Digital benefits, you are eligible to enroll in other coverage, such as COBRA coverage or your spouse’s benefits. Ask your spouse’s employer for their enrollment process and deadline.
