FOR EMPLOYEES

• Review Leave of Absence policies.
• Notify your manager of your expected leave.
• Call MetLife at (833) 771-1431 to begin processing your leave.
• Taking a leave of absence can be an emotional and stressful time. Access free, confidential counseling through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). 
• Reach out to AskHR with any questions about your Leave of Absence.

FOR MANAGERS

• Review Leave of Absence policies.
• Make sure the employee reaches out to MetLife.
• Review LOA Manager Guide.
• Assess temporary staffing needs.
• Periodically connect with your employee throughout their leave (refer to LOA Manager Guide for guidance).
• Having your employee take a leave of absence can be an emotional and stressful time. Access free, confidential counseling through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
